Here, you are looking at the wounds a protester acquired during the police violence. Riot police aimed and fired at people. The tear-gas canister just scraped off legs of this protester in Taksim. He had jeans on, so he felt only a slight burn on his legs. At first, there was no pain or visible holes in his pants. But, two hours later, something on his leg began to bother him. After taking his pants off, he saw a swelling, bruising wound on his leg.

Doctors from the first-response team could not determine the cause of these scars and shared this information with the Turkish Medical Association.
