On the 2nd of June, thousands of people came together in front of AZC Plaza. They blocked traffic and walked toward Kosuyolu Park. After giving a press release, people protested against the attacks in Taksim. After the protest, demonstrators again blocked traffic and walked back to AZC Plaza singing Gundogdu March. People gathered one more time at 8 PM. The crowd gathered on Sanat Street and chanted “Amed and Taksim holding hands, towards freedom!”

On the 5th of June, educational workers met in Ahmed Arif Park and walked to Dagkapi Square. In the speeches made during the protest, people demanded, “Democratic political channels should be opened and authorities should hear the voices of people”. The protest ended after the speeches. It was noted that most of the crowd consisted of young people.
