‘We would like to tell you about an experience we had in one of the public transportation vehicles today. We are summarizing here the words of an Anadolu Agency employee we met. We do not give his name due to possible tracing and threats.
We learnt that the general manager (Kemal Öztürk) of Anadolu Agency and its senior staff are imposing censorship on employees about reporting, and also the employees have had to broadcast government-biased since the beginning of the protests. In addition, the texts and calls from the phones given by the agency are recorded, the employees are constantly tracked and questioned about their daily lives, and the ones who try to be unbiased are threatened with dismissal.’
