On the 1st of June, Confederation of Public Workers’ Unions gave a press release. Bystanders applauded to show their support. People chanted, “Everywhere Taksim, everywhere resistance”, “Shoulder to shoulder against fascism” and “Government resign!”. After the release, there was a short sit-down protest.
On the 5th of June, public workers came together in front of Confederation of Public Workers’ Unions building. They walked along Gures Street chanting. Then, they gave a press release in front of Kizilay Business Center and held a sit-down protest. They condemned the police attacks in Taksim and all other parts of the country. People frequently chanted “Everywhere Taksim, everywhere resistance”.
