“What happened last night at Gezi Park and in the streets of Istanbul; the way police was hunting people and using violence on peaceful protestors is no longer about an authoritarian populist. Taking in consideration that all what took place yesterday happened because the place had to be ‘cleaned’ for the own protestors of AKP and Erdogas shows the fascist sides of Erdogas regime once is challenged.
I hope that the protestors continue their peaceful, creative and organized protests and even though injustice is done to them they will not get dehumanized as the oppressors. It is exactly this fact that has made that even though they are being demonized by the powerful elite and (demonized or ignored) by mainstream Turkish media, the protestors keep gaining more support from people.”
